Human behavior is a very strange thing to try to understand. I have worked for many years as a computer tech and educator and I still don't understand why some people just don't listen to what I say to them after fixing their computer problems.
I have worked for hours on a computer, such as one I am working on now, getting rid of virus and spyware infestations, only to have the person re-infect the computer and call me up a few days or weeks saying that they needed my help again.

You can now do your bit to prevent global warming by buying a greener, cleaner computer. Here is how -
Tip #1 -Buy Laptops, Not Desktops
Purchase a laptop instead of a full fledged desktop. It is a known fact that notebooks are more eco-friendly than desktops. This is because laptops -
- Require 70% less energy than desktops
- Also generate lesser heat in comparison to desktops
- Using the 'hiberate' function in laptops is simpler than in desktops. Ergo, a hibernating laptop also consumes lesser power than desktops.
There is nothing like a new computer. The look, the feel, the performance create feelings that are very similar to those that we experience when we get a new car.

Since a new computer can be an expensive item to purchase, it is likely that the owner has waited quite a while to get this little gem into his or her hands.

For this reason, you should consider a few of the following hints for making sure your new computer is as worry-free as possible.
Having been one of the many who were left severely disappointed after upgrading from XP to Vista a number of years back, was sceptical of Windows 7 after the first announcement of its impending release. Therefore, when the opportunity to install the first beta tests came around I jumped at the opportunity. I have to say, what I took from those early releases really whet my appetite for the real thing and I could hardly wait for the final release in October. So here we are, in December and I have been using Windows 7, officially, for a couple of months now and I am still somewhat staggered by the vast improvement over Windows Vista. Here's why
